Outdoors:
You will find all types of water sports along
Albissola – from
sailing, windsurfing, boating to swimming, snorkeling and diving.
The area offers relaxing walks along the promenades and the
beach or trekking up and down the plateaus of the Riviera.
Mountain biking, cycling, tennis, golf, rock climbing – are
all available for the outdoor enthusiast. The inland national
park – Parco Naturale del Beigna is close
by offering unusual panoramas and incredible
landscapes in a still
unspoiled environment.
Shopping:
There is a large outdoor market available every
Tuesday in the main square of Albissola Marina.
Neighboring
villages also have their markets: Savona- Monday;
Albissola Superiore-Wednesday;
Celle Ligure-Friday; Alassio-Saturday.
A number of craftsmen and artists have shops
in Albissola Marina offering handmade jewelry
and
local pottery
and ceramics.

taking day trips to see the entire area.
Just 30 minutes
to the
east is the
port city of Genoa with its historical center.
An hour and a half further west is the famous
San Remo
resort
town. To
the east an hour and a half are the picturesque
resort towns of Santa Margherita and Portofino.
Inland beyond
Liguria
lies the Piedmonte region known for its
wines and foods. Little
villages dot the countryside with the famous
towns of Alba and Bra.
